Lost and Confused
This piece is part of a diptych, with the second part of the series available here. I initially explored several themes for this project but ultimately decided to focus on the concept of our confusing existence.

Timelapse
I aimed to capture a variety of personas, much like those we encounter in everyday life. There's a confused baby, a hardworking dad, a studious girl, a hairstylist, and a gossiping aunt, among others. While these are the backstories I envisioned for the characters, The audience should interpret them based on their personal experiences with people and life.
Silkscreen Printmaking Process
Once the design was finalized, I translated it into silkscreen prints by separating the artwork into three distinct layers, each corresponding to a different color. I carefully burned the design onto the screen, and using a squeegee, I pulled the custom mixed ink through the screen to transfer the image onto paper.

Challenges
I encountered a few issues, including ink bleeding beyond the design boundaries and a blue that turned out duller than I had anticipated during ink mixing.

Final Silkscreen Prints
I was happy with the composition of the piece but if I were to redo this print, I would either mute the yellow ink or stick to the original pink and blue color scheme.

Achievements
My prints were selected for display at the Art and Design Exhibit, held at the Ringel Gallery in Stewart Hall. This was the first time my work had ever been showcased in an exhibit, and I felt incredibly grateful for the opportunity. Here I am posing with the prints in a BeReal :)
