Confusing Existence
This piece is part of a diptych, with the first part of the series available here. I initially explored several themes for this project but ultimately decided to focus on the concept of our confusing existence.

Timelapse of the Process
In this piece, I personify the Earth as a confused rock floating aimlessly through space.
Silkscreen Printmaking Process
Once the design was finalized, I translated it into silkscreen prints by separating the artwork into three distinct layers, each corresponding to a different color. I carefully burned the design onto the screen, and using a squeegee, I pulled the custom mixed ink through the screen to transfer the image onto paper.

Challenges
I encountered a few issues during the printing process, including screen misalignment due to registration errors and inconsistent print quality.

Final Silkscreen Prints
After a few attempts, I successfully created five high-quality and perfectly aligned prints. I was quite happy with vibrancy of the color.

Achievements
My prints were selected for display at the Art and Design Exhibit, held at the Ringel Gallery in Stewart Hall. This was the first time my work had ever been showcased in an exhibit, and I felt incredibly grateful for the opportunity. Here I am posing with the prints in a BeReal :)
